Ah, yes. My first post into what those kids on that new-fangled "inter-web" call BLOGGING!

Kudos to Rob "Pull Over I Gotta Go" Lane for setting up what's sure to be an interesting acid test of a family website.

Allow me to set the bar by mentioning that this space can (and should) serve as a place that extends beyond e-mail format... Which is to say that you should feel free to talk about your life as well as any thoughts you might have. You know, perhaps like a free-form brain dump of sorts. Even if you don't make any sense, it will give those of us reading more insight to what makes you tick (at least that's what I hope to gain)!

For example, perhaps Steven will tell us more about how he loves to collect "Precious Moments" figurines!

Personally, I'd like to share that since I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to cut back on caffeine (soda), I've recently been drinking my Jack Daniel's with Ginger Ale instead of Coke. However, I've found that since I like the taste of Canada Dry on it's own, it's not the right kind to mix with Jack... both beverages lose their distinct tastes when you do this. Therefore, I've found that Big K (the generic King Soopers brand), which is sweeter, is the right type to mix and still retain some of the flavor of each beverage.

Whew... I'm glad I got that off my chest!

See? Now don't you feel that you are so much wiser about the inner workings of Jon's brain after that? I think you're beginning to see him in a new light already! Isn't this fun?
